Play Fruit Merge online

Fruit drops into a container, two of a kind fuse into the next size up. Two cherries become a strawberry, and eventually a watermelon. Overflow the container and it is over – and it overflows faster than you think.

Where Fruit Merge comes from

Merging identical fruit became a phenomenon in 2021 with the Japanese Suika Game – originally a bonus on Chinese smart TVs, then a bestseller on the Switch. The idea itself is older: it combines the merge logic of 2048 with the physics of a drop game. Reaching the biggest fruit usually means you sorted very patiently beforehand.

How it works

Goal

Drop fruit in. Two identical fruit that touch merge into the next size up – from cherry all the way to watermelon. The bigger the fruit, the more the merge scores.

Controls

Move the mouse to set the drop position, click to release. The next fruit is shown top right.

End

If the pile rises above the red line and settles there, the game is over. Briefly poking above it while falling does not count.

Three tips for better results

  1. 1Sort by size: big fruit at the bottom, small fruit on top.
  2. 2Never leave two matching fruit at opposite edges – you will not bring those together again.
  3. 3A deliberately off-centre drop often rolls into exactly the gap you need.
