1. Scope and provider

This website is provided by Gaea Operations GmbH, Neuer Wall 10, 20354 Hamburg, Germany. These terms apply to the use of every game and feature offered on this website.

By using the website you accept these terms. If you do not agree with them, please do not use the site.

2. Service and availability

The website provides browser games for private entertainment. Use is free of charge; there are no payment features, no subscriptions and no advertising.

There is no entitlement to permanent availability. We may change, restrict, extend or discontinue the offering at any time. Maintenance, technical faults or changes to individual games may cause interruptions.

3. Profile and PIN

To keep your progress you create a profile with a name and a PIN. Both are stored exclusively in your own browser – no account is created with us.

Two things follow from that: we cannot reset your PIN and we cannot restore your progress. If you clear your browser storage, switch browsers or change device, the progress is gone. So do not build up anything you would mind losing.

Please choose a profile name that contains no personal data and infringes nobody's rights.

3a. Account on the server

Alternatively you can create an account. Your progress then lives with us, and you can sign in on any device with your name and PIN.

Here too we ask for no email address. That has a price: a forgotten PIN cannot be reset, because we have no way of identifying you. Note it down somewhere safe.

You can have your account deleted at any time – a message to legal@gaeaoperations.com is enough. Accounts with no sign-in for 24 months are deleted by us.

You are responsible for keeping your PIN secret. Anyone who knows it can access your account.

4. Chips, lives and diamonds have no monetary value

Chips, lives, diamonds, experience points and unlocked motifs are purely game elements with no economic value. They cannot be bought, sold, transferred, exchanged or paid out.

They create no claim against us – neither to their continued existence nor to compensation if they are lost through technical changes, faults or the clearing of browser storage.

5. No gambling

Casino-themed games such as blackjack, poker, roulette or video poker exist purely for entertainment. No real money is staked, and no real money or prize can be won. They therefore do not constitute gambling under German gambling law.

Success in these games says nothing whatsoever about the chances of success in gambling for money.

6. Permitted use

The website may be used for private purposes. The following in particular are prohibited:

• •automated extraction, reproduction or reuse of content beyond ordinary browsing
• •modifying, circumventing or manipulating the application in order to gain an in-game advantage
• •any act that disrupts operation of the website or places a disproportionate load on it
• •use of the content for your own commercial offerings without our consent

Because your game progress technically lives in your browser, you can change it there. We do not treat that as an attack on us – but nor is there any claim to have results obtained that way recognised.

7. Rights in the content

The design, graphics, texts and source code of this website are protected by copyright. Reproduction or use beyond what the law permits requires our prior written consent.

Game titles, brands and trademarks mentioned are the property of their respective owners. They are used purely descriptively to denote widely known game principles. There is no connection to the rights holders and no endorsement by them.

8. Liability

We are liable without limitation for intent and gross negligence, and for damage arising from injury to life, body or health.

In cases of ordinary negligence we are liable only for breach of a material contractual obligation whose fulfilment makes proper use possible in the first place and on whose observance you may regularly rely. In that case liability is limited to the foreseeable damage typical for this type of agreement.

Any further liability is excluded. Liability under the German Product Liability Act remains unaffected.

We accept no liability for the loss of game progress, as it is stored exclusively on your device and lies outside our control.

9. Changes to these terms

We may amend these terms when the offering or the legal situation changes. The version published on this page is the one that applies; the date appears at the end of the document.

10. Governing law and final provisions

The law of the Federal Republic of Germany applies, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods. Mandatory consumer protection provisions of the country in which you have your habitual residence remain unaffected.

If the user is a merchant, a legal entity under public law or a special fund under public law, the place of jurisdiction is Hamburg.

Should any provision of these terms be invalid, the validity of the remaining provisions is unaffected.
